It is important that you have an idea of what you want from your wedding photography, what ‘style’ it is that you like.  Do you prefer natural or ‘reportage’ photography or do you prefer highly stylized and set up shots?  It is also a good idea to meet your photographer as you are going to have a complete stranger at your wedding for the whole day so you need to feel comfortable with your chosen photographer and make sure you both have the same ideas about what you will get from your photographs.
My style of photography is very relaxed and informal because I want your photographs to look natural; I hate cheesy forced poses so none of that thank you very much!  Most people don’t like the idea of being posed so I will give you direction and guidance for some of your photographs to make sure you look amazing and the rest, you won’t even remember me taking them.

You will either like them or you won’t, simple?  Not quite because next you will look at the price and what’s included in the price and naturally you will want as much as possible for as little money as possible! 
​My advice would be to spend as much as your budget will allow on a photographer that you like even if it means you won’t be getting an album included in the price.  You are better having a USB filled with amazing images than an album filled with average images, you can always add an album at a later date but you can’t retake you photographs.
